  i honestly want your answers to the following questions.

  (i am trying to find out what jw's think on these things to determine what my parents may say in response if i ask them any of these)

  question #1can individuals read & understand the bible alone, or do they need an organization and its publications to do so?

  To be honest it was always a big shock, the hall would murmer because you knew you could never treat them like a human being again, I was very young as I remember this.

  How f~#king sad.

  I can't believe this organisation made me have such a disgusting view of other people, I never felt right about the way I was made to feel and act towards these people from being very young, it makes me sick even thinking about it!

  Nah, seriously I need to be way more disciplined myself, accept I'm enjoying it at the moment but I'll have to change soon so I best make the most of it. If you find a book on it let me know ...see, I'm worse than you!

  For Goodness sake....... "Vicious attacks by JWs" whatever next? A JW ate my hamster......A JW cut up a chicken on my front lawn......A JW shagged my rabbit......

  That made me laugh I’ve got to say,

  I remember a witno, he head butted a guy on field service once (they guy he was supposed to be witnessing to) because he pissed him off, and this is a true story by the way. He’d already done time in prison before he became a JW, a bit of a loose cannon really to say the least. I bet the Elders watched there step with him cos he always seemed to get away with this sort of behavior.

  we all know the wtbts policy on shunning, especially when you have either been disfellowshipped/disassociated.

  first off, because of this forum and a multitude of comments made by its members, i was able to come to some sort of resolve.....yes, even after almost 20 years away.

  so.....as it was pointed out numerous times by a few, because i am no longer a jw, why should i cater to their mindset, correct?

  and all of us cited "lack of love" as being at the root of our dispute with the organization, the doctrinal issues came later.

  Yep! Scully, I can vote for that! The organisational issues were just the icing on the cake for me!

  stealing someone elses thread about music..... what were some of the television shows that you thought were just too horrible to think of watching, or were conseled on watching?.

  i got reamed out for watching the simpsons.

  I love bitter! I'm from Yorkshire and Tetleys' is the bitter to drink in my opinion, even if it does smell a bit farty.

  As far as being bitter, only when I can use it to a positive advantage. I'm quite lazy so I harness my negativity sometimes, it gets me off my but and makes me work damn hard I can tell you.

  When I'm happy I don't do anything really, accept be lazy, spend money I haven't got, drink and enjoy the moment, I forget about everything I'm supposed to be doing like writing and a career.

  jesus expelled many demons in people that were possesed.

  How can demons control us exactley, by moving our arms and legs in directions we don't want to go?

  Can they crawl into our brains and turn the cells in our heads that make the decisions on and off or is it just a spookey mist they blow out of their arses at us too brianwash us!
